Long Tailed Cuckoo
A long flight across the Pacific Ocean, returning to birthplace forest, the female Koekoeā awaits the arrival of a mate, some day her prince will come.
Her harsh call rings out over the forest.
The tiny whiteheads hear the sound as they hurry to feed their fledgling offspring, knowing from past experience that they may have a massive fostering task on their hands.
