After yearning to capture a distinctive sequel to my classic panorama "Bonjour Akaroa" I decided the iconic Akaroa Head lighthouse would be my focal point. After gambling with the weather over several trips that dissapointed, I finally captured this scene one winter's evening, beginning on the right as the sun still lit the township & then panning to the left as it began to descend behind the hills & formed this brief starburst - Bonsoir Akaroa!
