“I was born in the Middle East and traveled extensively in India, where I developed a passion for Rajasthani and North Indian tribal jewellery. In the ’80s, while living in Britain, I discovered contemporary European jewellery. Collecting became my passion until I retired from the Health Service in 2020 and enrolled in classes at the Canterbury Silversmiths Guild. That’s when I truly began my journey as a maker.”
