Residing in Taranaki, Auckland born and Wellington trained artist Vicky Lord is a curiouscreative using painting and design on a daily basis to communicate and connect with others. Alongside being ‘Mum’ to two young boys, she is a freelance design and brand consultant, creativity advocate and artist.Vicky’s current body of work explores what lies below. An uncovering of truth, a challenge to the status quo and a discovery of symbiotic inner workings beneath the surface. Amidst the biomorphic forms and organic mark making of her poetically rendered abstract works we see botanical references, including coral and leaf like forms.
