Rachel Lambert

"Over the years, I’ve explored a diverse range of styles, from Māori and Pacific-inspired pieces to organic shapes, natural materials, and traditional silver/gold-smithing, including gem setting and repairs. I believe my work reflects a deep connection to craftsmanship with a focus on creating unique, wearable art that resonates with a wide variety of people and draws them in to connect to it.

After studying jewellery techniques at the Manukau Institute of Technology in Auckland in 2001, I have had the privilege of showcasing my work in exhibitions, selling in galleries across New Zealand, and being featured in publications; North and South, Home and Garden, Urbis, and Jewellers Trade. My journey in jewellery-making also took me to the United Kingdom, where I worked as a bench jeweller and tutor, further honing my skills. As well as learning
new techniques along the way in workshops here in New Zealand and in the UK."
