Jane Galloway studied at Elam School of Fine Arts and graduated with an Honours Diploma in Fine Art, majoring in painting. Her move from Auckland to Raglan, Waikato in the 1990s rekindled her interest in painting and she continued to practice inspired by the beauty of Raglan's rugged coastline, wildlife and surroundings.
Her graphic, bestselling range of reproduction print designs involve techniques including collage and digital manipulation, as well as digitisations of her original watercolour and acrylic paintings, always produced in limited, high quality archival editions.
With a particular affinity for native flora and fauna, Jane continues to explore ways in which she can share her unique perception of the landscape and wildlife of Aotearoa.
“I have a passionate interest in conveying the beauty of the natural world both through paint and digital media.” – Jane Galloway
