Through this new collection of work Galina Kim reflects on the quiet significance of the in between, the spaces between moments, between what is seen and what is felt. Through gentle compositions and vertical forms that frame rather than divide, the works invite reflection on how meaning often emerges not at the edges, but within the subtle shifts and pauses of experience.

"Between beginning and ending, between growth and fading, between earth and sky, between what is seen and what is felt – in between is where life quietly breathes, unfolds and reveals itself. In the space between striking occurrences lies the simple experience of being. Being, one might say, is the art of appreciating the in between. In between, we find not emptiness, but meaning. We find what holds our life together, what fulfills and inspires us.  

This exhibition is born from my own state of being in between ‐ a creative space where inspiration is received, transformed and given form. Vertical lines divide the painting composition - a mast, a tree, a flower stem, a mountain's rise - not as barriers, but as frames. They mark out the in between spaces I return to again and again.  

In these soft boundaries and quiet thresholds, the viewer is invited to look more closely and to consider perhaps this is where life is fullest - not at the edges, but in the heart of the in between." - Galina Kim
