Creativity has been a central thread throughout Blanche’s life. She has explored a wide range of artistic mediums, including fabric and fiber, painting, songwriting, and ceramic sculpture.

Based in Southbridge, Blanche Fryer is a ceramic artist and an active member of the Halswell Pottery Group. She is also involved with several community galleries across the Selwyn District, advocating for greater recognition of the value of art and creativity in the region. Her work has been exhibited in several galleries throughout the South Island.
