Anna Stichbury has been painting and exhibiting for over 25 years, involved in many group and solo exhibitions around the country. She paints from her Wellington studio and has work in a number of galleries throughout New Zealand. 

Her works tend to be bold and gestural, intensely hued colours are generously applied, drips and makers marks add additional effect and interest to her paintings. She strives, through the use of colour and texture, to create rich, vibrant paintings that have an immediate impact for the viewer.
