No time to waste

‘No time to waste’… a visual feast of artistic creation.  Emotive, provocative, beautiful. The passing of time recorded, beginnings and endings. The richness and texture of life build a patina of emotion on canvas.

Pulled from the land-fill, practical objects are reconfigured, imbued with meaning, a visual syntax formed. A new life given and the message…there is ‘No time to waste’.

"My paintings are emotive, and I am often drawn to how time plays a part in our lives - whether it be marked by personal emotions, celebrated occasions, or a significant event".

Tania Bostock

With a graphic and landscape design background, my interest in art covers mixed media, sculpture, printmaking and photography. I prefer to use reclaimed materials as I’m able to inject new life into resources destined for landfill. As a society we are quick to discard the old in favour of the new.

With this series of work I’ve used a range of resources including old school desks, scaffolding timber and beer crates and reconfigured them into works of art. I’m hoping that by creating unique art works out of ordinary resources, people will start to view the world differently and begin to make a positive change.

'Global Warning 1' carries an environmental concern through to my sculptural work. By introducing humor, I’m hoping to achieve better audience connection. So start now, make apositive change, there really is no time to waste. carries this environmental concern through to my sculptural work.
